SummerSkills Math and Language Review Books
Every spring, AB PIP sells SummerSkills Math and Language Review Books. These books are refreshers to help your children review math and language skills over the summer.

Product Details: Summer Math Skills Sharpener is a series of 13 separate books (grades K-12) that review the mathematical concepts learned in the just completed school year. Consult your child's teacher if you have concerns about appropriate skill level, but generally, you order "Grade 1" if your child just completed grade 1. The books are designed to work with any school curriculum to prepare students for the next level. Customer Reviews: Local educators and tutors continue to identify the SummerSkills Sharpeners as a valuable resource and tool to provide math and language arts practice and reinforce skills during the summer. Many families have found SummerSkills books fun and useful tools for summer math practice. SummerSkills Sharpeners are based on the National Curriculum Standards and are not designed to supplement any specific math curriculum. SummerSkills resource primers are also available for Language Arts and Spanish or French Language review.
Entertainment Coupon Books
Every fall, AB PIP sells the popular Entertainment Coupon Books to raise money for PIP community math and science activities (Market Math, Star Party, annual PIP ABRHS Scholarship, our STEM Book club and more). Entertainment books contain hundreds of dollars in valuable coupons and special local offers for restaurants, travel and recreation and more! (This year's book contains 2 for 1 local dining at Monsoon Indian Bistro and Vincenzo's Restaurant, Kimball's Farm golf, Regal and AMC movie coupons (redeem at box office), 2 for 1 museum discounts, Acton Ace Hardware, Subway, Acton Bowladrome plus many other discounts!). Entertainment books make great holiday gifts.
Family Skating Party
AB PIP's winter fundraiser is a family skating event. The site of this ice skating party is the Nashoba Valley Olympia, 34 Massachusetts Avenue, Route 111, Boxborough, MA. Acton PIP requests donations of $5 per person or $20 per family for a few hours of ice skating fun. Come to this potluck event, meet friends, skate and listen to music. Your donations help support AB PIP and several other nonprofits such as Community Alliance for Youth (CAFY), Project Graduation and Project Wellness.
Community Skate "Fun"draiser Thank You
The 11th Annual Community Skate Fundraiser hosted by AB PIP, CAFY (Community Alliance for Youth), the Herther-Kappel, Jacobsohn and Mosher families on March 7th was a big success and lot of fun with a great turn-out of family, friends, new and seasoned skaters. We would like to extend a big THANK YOU to all who contributed. ALL proceeds benefit Acton-Boxborough causes: AB PIP math and science enrichment activities (eco activities, AB Robotics), Teen Wellness (CAFY, 7th Grade Project Wellness, Project Graduation) and Acton area food pantries (Acton Community Supper and Loaves and Fishes). In addition to donations for the event, patrons gave food items for the Acton Food Pantry and toiletry items for the LTC Dad Project. We would like to extend a special thank you to Nashoba Valley Olympia in Boxborough for generously donating the rink time; DJ David Jacobsohn for Skate Music, David McCormick for event photography, Sweet Bites in West Acton for the delicious coffee and Edible Arrangements in Westford for donating the fruit bouquet arrangement.
