Accept the Challenge! PIP encourages jr. high and high school students to volunteer for our special events. Last year, students earned community service credits for volunteering at Market Math Mania stations at the Roche Bros. and Star Party stations at the Parker Damon School. Interested? 2010 PIP Scholarship Winners
ABRHS seniors, Isabel Krakoff and Danni Sherman, won PIP's 2010 leadership/scholarship awards. Isabel volunteered with PIP for the past six years and took leadership roles in the Star Party, Market Math and Discover STEM events. Isabel plans to pursue a degree in social sciences at Hamilton College. Danny took leadership roles with PIP in Market Math stations and became the EMCEE for the 2009 Discover STEM video. Danny plans to study Chemical Engineering at the University of Rochester this fall. Congratulations to Isabel and Danny.
2009 PIP Scholarship Winners
ABRHS seniors, Douglas Randolph and Erin Sweet, won PIP's 2009 scholarships. These awards were based on Douglas and Erin's outstanding volunteer service at PIP STEM events including leading and mentoring students at Market Math Mania at Roche Bros, Star Parties, and the PIP STEM Career Fest. Douglas is studying business administration with a focus on technology at Bentley University and Erin is pursuing a degree in special education at Lesley University.
2008 PIP Scholarship Winners
ABRHS seniors, Josh Crofton-McDonald of Acton and Jessica Hatch of Boxborough, won PIP's 2008 scholarships. These awards were based on outstanding volunteer service in PIP STEM events. PIP gives preference to students pursuing STEM education. Josh attends Cornell University and Jessica attends Case Western University.
