Every spring, Acton PIP and Roche Bros. of Acton present two Market Math Mania events at Roche Bros. Supermarket--one for 3rd grade students, the other for 5th grade students.
Both events feature an extravaganza of hands on "super" market activities, complimented by samples, give-a-ways, and tons of fun. Market Math Mania is designed to help children better understand how classroom math concepts apply to the "real world."
During the events, children and accompanying adults visit stations set up throughout Roche Bros. Come try your hand at M&M Math or Grocery Scanning. All activities are based on the Acton Public School's mathematics curriculum.
