In Control Advanced Driver Training
Teens learn about defensive driving and real-world physics when they Sign Up Online for In Control Driver Training. Acton PIP, Acton Toyota and Danni's Place sponsor Skid School Advanced Driver Training each year. 
In Control Advanced Driver Training teaches student drivers to react to life-threatening situations behind the wheel.
In a half day class, In Control teaches effective braking, proper hand and seating positions, precision steering and car control, tire care and maintenance for optimal safety, backing up, emergency lane changes, and the dangers of tailgating. At the Acton Boxborough area Crash Prevention Training program, students from several area schools learn how to perform panic stops, how to use ABS breaks, the effect of speed on control, the dangers of tailgating, and much more. The students wear specialized vests designed to measure acceleration in three dimensions while turning, starting and stopping and determining the coefficient of friction.
Domino Night
Each winter Acton PIP holds a Domino Math Night, a combination game evening and fundraiser. Bring your family and prepare for a night of fun and games. Domino math games are a simple, inexpensive, fun way for students from first grade
through high school to practice estimation skills and number facts. 
Younger children
can play addition and subtraction games using dominos sets with 0-6 or 0-10 dots per
tile; advanced students can play multiplication and division games or experiment with
equations using domino sets with 0-15 dots per tile. Younger children can take turns,
while advanced students can race. No two games are alike, which keeps Domino Math
fresh and exciting.
Acton PIP provides the dominos and the game instructions.
