The annual AB Skate FUNdraiser is held in March at the Nashoba Valley Olympia Rink (rink #3) on route 111 in Boxborough. ALL proceeds benefit AB STEAM, local food pantries, AB energy initiatives, non-profits and charities.

Around town, you will see BE KIND lawn signs, a tribute to Acton resident, Caroll Spinney, best known as the beloved Big Bird from Sesame Street. The signs honor his legacy of spreading joy, learning, and compassion—reminding us that kindness, much like Big Bird’s lessons, never goes out of style.

The Acton Nature Guide includes a map of Acton's conservation lands plus photos of local birds, butterflies, insects, wildflowers, pond life, mammals, trees and invasive plants. It's perfect for your own self guided walks.

You can borrow an Acton Nature Guide from the Acton Memorial Library and the West Acton Citizens' Library or buy one at Kitchen Outfitters in Acton Woods Plaza, Pedal Power on Route 2A in Acton or Silver Unicorn Books in West Acton. Find out more. Proceeds support popular AB STEAM activities.
